The International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE) is a worldwide consortium of societies concerned with noise control and acoustics. I-INCE, chartered in Zürich, Switzerland, is the sponsor of the INTER-NOISE Series of international congresses on noise control engineering. I-INCE also has an active program of technical activities, and has produced five technical reports on subjects of interest in noise control engineering. I-INCE Currently has 46 Member Societies in 39 countries.
The Institute of Noise Control Engineering of the USA (INCE/USA) is a non-profit professional organization incorporated in Washington, DC. The primary purpose of the Institute is to promote engineering solutions to environmental noise problems. In addition to Noise News International, INCE/USA publishes Noise Control Engineering Journal which is available online. Once a year the issues for the year are also distributed on CD-ROM.
INCE/USA sponsors the NOISE-CON series of national conferences on noise control engineering in the years when INTER-NOISE is held outside of the USA. View the INCE/USA web site for membership information.
